I attend births at the hospital, birthing centers, and home births. These births include natural vaginal, water births, medicated vaginal, VBAC, or cesarean births.
My job is to inform you about the benefits, risks, & possible side effects of receiving an epidural, while supporting whatever decision you make. There are still plenty of ways to encourage and support your birth after receiving pain relief.
I will not take more than 3 mamas per month.
I will always try my absolute hardest to be present for your birth. That being said, emergencies and sickness may occur, and in the rare event, I may be attending a birth for another client. In these cases, I will work diligently to have a backup doula in place. A partial refund will be sent if no doula can attend your birth.
While I can not change your health circumstances, I am here to offer emotional support, physical support, and comfort during the stressful challenges that a high-risk pregnancy may come with.
Some mama's hire me at 4 weeks, while others may choose to reach out for doula care as late as 38+ weeks. There is no "right" time! If I have availability, I would love to join your journey for as long or as little of time that may be.
I am a Certified Birth Doula (CBD) through Childbirth International. I am also a Certified VBAC Doula through The VBAC Link.
Yes, once your deposit fee is placed, I am here to support you, answer your questions, help guide you in your decisions, or just chat! I love to hear from you more often than not, & continuously build our relationship!
Ask yourself these questions. Does your doula support your birth preferences? Does conversation flow easily? Birth is a vulnerable time; do you feel comfortable sharing this experience with that doula? Would you trust them in your home? In my opinion, choosing a doula comes down to relatability, comfort, and compatibility.
